Team Role
Seeks to develop both the leadership skills and spiritual growth of all members. The first 3 items include discipleship development.
Staff Members: Jeanne Anderson and Patti English will provide encouragement and support
Actions:
1. Explain, promote, and implement processes of discipleship (spiritual formation).
2. Inform the church of various programs and groups which support discipleship growth and mission action. (i.e. CBF, LUCHA, Micah, etc.)
3. Develop strategies and projects to support discipleship growth and mission action in cooperation with the Deacons, church mission organizations, and other ministry and administrative teams.
4. Propose the Mission Ministries section of the church budget in cooperation with the Budget Workgroup.
5. Administer budgeted mission project funds.
6. Enlist participants for involvement in mission projects.
7. Spiritual Action: Offer your service to the LORD in Jesus’ name. Give thanks for the opportunity to facilitate openings to the Holy Spirit in the church and in the world. Pray for those who will serve and be served, that they may know the love of God more and more for claiming the peace of Christ now and forever.
