Dr. Chris Ryder

Dr. Christopher O. Ryder, Minister of Music, oversees music for church worship. He directs the Sanctuary Choir, and coordinates the music programs for handbells, youth and children.

Chris is also on the faculty of University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg Virginia, and serves as Artistic Director for the Maranatha Music Ministries of Fredericksburg. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Mary Washington College, where he completed majors in voice and viola. He also holds a Master of Arts in Choral Conducting from George Mason University, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Education at the Shenandoah Conservatory.
