Dr. Jeanne Anderson

Dr. Jeanne Anderson provides leadership for adults in missions support on local and global levels. While Missions outside of the church is most often realized through our neighbors, Missions within the church is participation in spiritual formation. Growing in love for God prepares our hearts to be shaped through experiences of loving our neighbors. Jeanne’s leadership toward spiritual formation is evident in worship planning, her support of formative elements in church programming, and her encouragement of personal and private devotion among our members.

Jeanne is a native of southwestern Virginia. She has lived in the Fredericksburg area since 1985 and has been a member of Fredericksburg Baptist Church since 1987. She is a 1982 graduate of Radford University with a B.S. degree in Education. She received a Master of Arts degree from Mary Washington College in 1999. In 2018, Jeanne completed a Doctorate in Worship Studies at the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies.
