“Do not remember the former things,
or consider the things of old.
I am about to do a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.”
-Isaiah 43:18-19
Sometimes our lives are disrupted. Many of us find ourselves there, right now. We may wake up grumpy or troubled but God is still with us. God still loves us when we are grumpy and troubled. Sometimes a disruption calls us to pay better attention. It challenges us to look around and see the good that is still happening…sort of like God saying, “Hey guys, pay attention, I am still doing great things!”
God makes a way when there is no way. Each and every day we have the opportunity to be generous, to show love and kindness, and to smile along the way.
This week we will have the pleasure of having some of our Potter's House Preschool teachers read to us!
Tonight, we will hear from Ms. Velvet who will read, I love it When you Smile, by Sam McBratney and illustrated by Charles Fuge.
